Dr. Ross Tam graduated from University of Toronto Doctor of Dental Surgery Program in 2007.  Dr. Tam places a strong emphasis on prevention through early detection, patient education and continual follow-ups.  He believes that nothing is better than your own healthy, natural teeth.  And when repair or replacement is necessary, Dr. Tam is thoroughly trained in advanced procedures (such as implant surgery and restoration, impacted wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, gum grafting, gum disease treatment, cosmetic dentistry, tooth wear management, crowns, bridges & more).  He wants the final results to look, feel and function as close to your natural teeth as possible.

Dr. Tam's mission to help patients under his care to keep most, if not all, of their teeth until they are in their 80's so that they would be able to eat healthy (soft foods are usually low in nutrients or fatty), to smile with confidence and to be free of any oral infection/inflammation (gum disease).

Most patients feel very comfortable with Dr. Tam, because he has gentle hands and he always takes his time to explain what are the best options.  Dr. Tam's gentle techniques came from having to  work on fully conscious young children, who previously needed to be "knocked-out" by general anesthetic for dental work, in a specialized clinic for over four years.
